The most convenient time of the year for kids to fall into a trap of laziness is typically when summertime hits. It is no doubt that our kids love to watch tv for hours, or play videogames until they fall asleep. But what are they really learning from that? Here at Champs we set a goal not only through the school year, but through any time of the year to always keep our Champs minds and bodies moving. That’s why we created our March Break and Summer Camps for kids to have fun in! Our camps are open for anybody to sign up, not just members. We have created fun and exciting camps that not only keep your child busy, but give them that fun summer feeling everyday.
Summer Camp and March Break Camps both consist of the same, exciting schedule. Camp starts at 8am and goes until 6pm each day of the week. From Monday to Friday there is a special outing each day for the kids which consists of going to vertical zone, a beach day, splash pad, or a nerf gun fight at miniature sports. As well as every Friday there is a pizza party. Throughout the day there are a total of three taekwondo classes which focus on self defence skills, kicks, patterns and bully defence. Our goal is to make sure our Champs not only physically stay active throughout the day, but we always want to make sure their minds are just as exercised too. Our instructors incorporate the importance of focus, respect and discipline as this is very important in all of our taekwondo classes, not just for our camps.
Enrollment for both camps is not restricted to registering for the full camp. We have flexible options that work with what you and your child want to do. We offer single days of camp where you can bring them whenever they would like for the full day, we also offer signing up for a specific week or weeks that you desire and of course if you want your child registered for the full March Break or Summer Camp we are more than happy to do so!
